Pharmacists’ three years stint with the Government reduced to one

KUALA LUMPUR: The three years mandatory public service for pharmacists to serve the government hospitals after they graduated has been reduced to a year.

Health Minister Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai said the cabinet had approved the decision in early September. It will take effect immediately.

However, he said, the one-year training before the compulsory service will still be maintained.
