TRACER STUDY - Online Tracer Study Exercise

Congratulations on your convocation! We are proud of your achievements and pray for your success as you enter the world of work. As part of our efforts to provide continuous world class education to IIUM students, IIUM conduct a survey called the Tracer Study (TS). The TS is conducted annually to gather information from soon to be IIUM graduates on their perceptions on the education they had received, the services obtained and the facilities provided to them while studying here.

The findings from the TS provide important and useful information to IIUM management that enables the University to make informed changes IIUM’s academic programmes, services and facilities. In addition, the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) is also able to gauge the perceptions of the graduates from IIUM in comparison with those from other local universities, either public (IPTA) or private (IPTS) universities.

Your valuable feedback can make a change to the University and to the Ministry of Higher Education in improving the standard of higher education in Malaysia. This is one way of giving back and to say thank you to IIUM.

For your information, the Graduate Tracer System for the IIUM Graduates of 2011 can be accessed online from 8th September 2011 until 7th October 2011. The access to the system will be closed on the first day of IIUM 27th Convocation Ceremony (8th October 2011).

All graduates are required to complete and submit two (2) Tracer Study questionnaires which can be accessed directly at: - for IIUM Alumni Tracer Study - for MOHE Tracer Study

This ONLINE exercise is COMPULSORY. You are expected to answer all questions. Upon completion, kindly print a copy of the survey slips (IIUM Alumni and MOHE) and submit the slips to the person-on-charge at the registration counter when you collect your invitation cards, multimedia cards and convocation attire as a proof that you have completed the surveys.

As a gentle reminder, your failure to complete the survey forms will consequently delay your process in collecting the invitation cards, multimedia cards and convocation attire. While doing the Graduate Status Check, please check your details accordingly. And if you spot any incorrect details in your personal information, kindly contact Admission and Records Division or A&R (undergraduate) or Centre for Postgraduate Studies or CPS (postgraduate) to correct them.
For graduates who face problems with the tracer system, please contact Alumni and Career Services Division immediately either through telephone or email. You can also refer to us on the robe collection day since a tracer study (TS) booth will be stationed at the CAC during the robe collection day.
We also would like to encourage all graduates to print those slips earlier to avoid last minute difficulties. Printing services will be provided at the TS booth during the robe collection day, we will charge RM 1.00 per page.
