Parents & Visitors - Seating Arrangements
Each graduate is given the privilege of inviting not more than two (2) guests to witness the Convocation Ceremony. The invitation cards will be distributed during the robe collection week from 1st October 2011 until 2nd October 2011 and 5thOctober 2011 until 7th October 2011 at the Cultural Activity Centre. Please note that children below 12 years old are not allowed to enter the hall during the Convocation Ceremony.
Parents can enter the Culture Activity Centre (CAC) from "Entrance No. 2" i.e. door beside the Azman Hashim building. The entrance will be opened from 8.00 a.m. onwards for morning session and 2.00 p.m. onwards for afternoon session.
The University has reserved special seats for disabled parents / guests and those in wheelchairs to attend the ceremony. Please inform the University of the need by clicking here at latest by 23rd September 2011.

To assist parents with small children (aged 7 years and below) who are attending the ceremony, the University also provides child care service managed by EDUCARE Child Development Centre at the rate of RM7.00 per hour per child for Saturday and Monday and RM14.00 per hour per child for service requested on Sunday. Food is to be provided by the parents. Please inform the University should you need the service by clicking here latest by 23rd September 2011 (maximum is 25 children per session). Confirmation of the service must be made one week prior to the date of the ceremony by making payment to the EDUCARE office. Walk-in application will not be accepted.
