IIUM Pharmacy Sdn Bhd established in 2003, was integrated universal healthcare company in Malaysia. We will be opening our first commercial plant by the year end 2009. The plant is located at our International Islamic University Malaysia Campus in Kuantan, Pahang.

We will be the first Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Plant to produce syariah compliance plant firstly in Malaysia.

With staff strength of 35 initially, the plant shall be producing its first batch of GENERIC Drugs for commercialization by early next year. The 4 generic drugs are:

1. Mefenamia Acid 250mg
2. Cetrizine 10mg
3. Amlodipine 5mg                                                                                                       
4. Gliclazide 80mg

As a commercial pharmaceutical plant closely associated with the Kulliyyah of Pharmacy IIUM, Kuantan, we are looking into the sector for cottage industry extract commercialization. The plant is currently working on with a few existing pharmacy plant on contract manufacturing and the possibility of our plant being use for Product testing.
