‘My Computer’ takes a long time to open?
Salam my friends. How is your computer?either laptop or desktop? :P
Is there a problem to open ‘My Computer’ that takes a long time about 1-2 minutes to load all drive disk after the screen showing the desktop icon (when you firstly turn on your computer)
If you face that problem, I suggest you to continue reading this entry because there is a solution to fix the problem.
How?? Just go to Start > Control Panel (do not forget to switch to classic view) > Administrative Tools > Services > Go to ‘Windows Image Acquisition (WIA)’(double click) > change automatic @ manual to disabled at startup type > Apply > OK > Restart your computer > try to open your ‘My Computer’ instantly after your desktop icons appear. Any changes? Alhamdulillah.. ;) Look the following picture for further understanding
It only disables the startup service for scanners & cameras. But, you can still install your cameras/scanners since they are plug and play devices (some devices need their own drivers)

Kuantan: Friendster Group named IIUM Pharmacy 6th Batch was reported have been ignored for more than a month by it's members. One of the spokesman responsed when asked in a press conference saying that the situation happened ever since a new blog (iiumrx6th.blogspot.com) was established since the past few months. No action has been taken nor announcement of it's closing made after that.

Pharmily Day 2008/2009
Assalamualaikum to all my friends. How are you? Hope you are fine and happy with your life. Yesterday, 3rd August 2008, students of year 1 2008/2009(7th batch) from Kulliyyah of Pharmacy had organized an annual program of our Kulliyyah named ‘Pharmily Day’, no more ‘family day’. Sapa yang bagi nama ni ek? Kreatif jugak.
Last year, batch kita (iium pharmacy sixth batch) organized family day kat Pantai Beserah yang tiada pokok untuk berteduh but this year our junior choosed Pantai Sepat that is located about 21km from UIA Kuantan. Bukan kita sahaja yang menganjurkan family day di Pantai Sepat semalam tetapi ada lagi 2 family day berlangsung di tempat yang sama, Pantai Sepat. Sememangnya pantai ini terkenal dengan family day. ;P
Penat dah type walaupun 2 peranggan. Tengok la gambar-gambar kenangan manis yang sempat ditangkap on that day. Saya dah copy gambar2 ke komputer kt Lecture Hall.
